What you need
We will provide:
Helmet, leather jacket, gloves and waterproofs. If you want an intergrated head
set comunication systems installed. This will allow you
to talk to each other. Please advise at the time of booking & there will be an additional charge of £10 per person.
Note: The headsets will not be available for any trip with a duration of less
than 40 minutes.
All you need:
Long Trousers, Enclosed Shoes, Camera or
Video to record your memories.
Booking a Trike Tour & Voucher Bookings
For all bookings we require a 50% deposit as confirmation of your future booking. The deposit will be refunded if the tour is cancelled a minimum of 14 days prior to the booking. (an administration fee of £40.00 will be applied and deducted from the deposit) If the booking is cancelled within 14 days of the tour the deposit is not refunded. If the booking is cancelled or rearranged within 72 hours of the tour time the full amount for the tour will be payable. However if for any reason we cannot complete the agreement, we will re-schedule. If you
are on a short break and sadly do not have time on your side
we will issue you with a gift voucher valid for one year.
For booking made on the day Trike Tours Scotland reserve the right to move your booking for up to 60 mins.
If the customer wants to cancel due to time constraints an admin fee of £40.00 will be applied.
Rescheduling Bookings / Vouchers
If you have to reschedule your tour or voucher once you have confirmed due to personal circumstances we do charge a administration fee of £40.00. (No matter what the time scale or circumstance)
All Voucher bookings have no cash alternative & are non refundable once booked. All vouchers must be redeemed within 12 months of purchase & Trike Tours Scotland require a minimum of 14 days notice to book a scheduled tour. All voucher bookings will also be dependant on availability & weather unless a date & time have been stated on the voucher. All tours are for two passengers. We will extend your voucher beyond 12 months if required. (a administration fee of £40.00 will be applied for this service for each additional 3 month period of the extension)
Rain/Snow (In Scotland? Never!)
Occasionally in Scotland we have
a spot of rain/snow. If it is raining or snowing we are prepared to do the
tour in light rain or light snow & waterproofs
will be supplied. Alternatively we will re-schedule. If you
are on a short break and sadly do not have time on your side
we will issue you with a gift voucher valid for one year.
Insurance:
We are fully covered for bike and public liability insurance.
Safety:
Your safety whilst on our tours is our highest
priority and we will advise you of the Do’s & Don'ts
prior to your tour. If in our opinion we consider you to
be unsuitable for travel for any reason, we reserve the right
to cancel your tour with no refund.
All our Trikes are fitted with
a Safety Restraint Bar and lap belts. In addition helmets,
jackets, gloves
and waterproofs will be provided to make your trip as enjoyable
as possible.
Children are encouraged
to participate but must be accompanied by an adult if under
16 years of age.
All children need to be over 135cm in height or over 12
years of age.
Maximum weight limit per person is 19 Stone.
Notes:
At all times the trikes must be hired out as a whole (including
chauffeur). Timing: We at Trike Tours Scotland understand that if you are running late this will not be a problem. We are happy to allow 10 minutes onto the tour with no charge, we will however charge waiting time after this at a cost of £20 per 30 minute duration.
